Ghana bound

I'm flying to Accra, Ghana and Togo in early September - for a friend's wedding. Hope to post a few stills and videos here when I get back. Never been to sub-Saharan Africa before though went to Egypt in 2002.

My new Advanced Creative Writing course kicks off at the Open University in October. This will be the first presentation of that course. I'm looking forward to it. Graduated with BA this month. Four years it took: not bad for a distance learning course and I'm also holding down a fairly demanding management job. If I pass the new course next year, I'll be awarded a BA (Hons) Literature degree; might even pen something worthwhile along the way.

I'm currently enjoying Richard Yates' 'Revolutionary Road': a great writer - must read more of his stuff.
